Tutorials and Standards

The lack of knowledge about e-Business standards and their applicability in specific e-Business scenarios is a crucial hurdle to SME participation in e-Business. The CEN Focus Group eSMEs aims to help SMEs integrate e-Business standards and procedures into their daily work. The Focus Group is collecting and disseminating practical knowledge, information and experiences as well as guidelines concerning the use of e-Business and e-Business standards. The Focus Group will also provide courses and tutorials targeted specifically to small and medium companies.

As experts of the Focus Group eSMEs, we address the lack of knowledge by first identifying relevant EU experts and initiatives, and by collecting information and experiences as well as available guidelines.

We would be glad if you could share your knowledge on existing activities in Europe:

-By checking whether experts you know are already in the Experts database

-By inviting experts you know to register as members of the community of Experts

-By checking whether tutorials you know are already in the Tutorials database

-By proposing Tutorials (in any of the European languages) for inclusion in the Tutorials database.

It will take a short time to add data on experts and tutorials by completing the on-line forms.

Your input will benefit the whole community.

It will allow us and the community to articulate gaps in tutorial material and expertise, and it will provide indications of resources (tutorials in other languages and experts) on the basis of which to address these gaps.
