Since 2003, DG Enterprise and Industry has established the eBSN (e-Business Support Network for SMEs) in order to promote the innovative use of ICT by European SMEs. eBSN is a policy dialogue, among over 200 policy makers and experts from 30 European countries, exchanging experiences and coordinating policy actions in this field. The eBSN portal is dedicated to this aim including descriptions of national and regional eBusiness policies and initiatives to support SMEs integrate ICT into their business strategy.
As SME trust their peers (and their Chartered accountant) and rely upon “Peers ICT experience”, with concrete, well documented and plausible success stories prove to be the most convincing argument to adopt ICT as part of their eBusiness transformation, DG Enterprise and Industry has launched a project to collect and disseminate Best eBusiness practices among European SMEs: Learning from peers.
This project has been commissioned to a consortium led by two French Companies Adetef and Periscope that is charged to collect, publish and disseminate some of the most convincing eBusiness cases from European SMEs with a large implication of the eBusiness European Support Network.
I am happy to invite you to discover these 200 EU SME e-Business cases using a search engine to ease your selection (by country, technology, strategic objective)... You can also view or download the booklets containing a summary of 50 cases, in your own language.
Feel free to react , or propose new cases you think they will encourage IT use, by “Learning From Peers”.
